I`ve completed my Master`s of Biomedical Sciences (honours) specialising in microbiology from The University of Auckland and am currently tutoring biology for high school students on top of working full time.

I`m passionate about teaching students to understand science rather than purely memorisation. I also offer advice and guidance on what to expect in the field if they`re interested in pursuing science / biology in university.

I also speak Mandarin so it`d be an advantage for students who might need some translation.

The main goal would be to prepare students for their internal assignments or external exams in school.

I`m happy to help students keep up with their current school work or teach ahead, it would depend on what pace the student is comfortable with.

I`m patient and I understand that sometimes repetition and extra explanation would be needed for thorough understanding.

I bring extra materials lessons to facilitate my teaching and use them as revision.

Availability: I`m available weekday evenings for online sessions and weekends for face-to-face sessions.

I offer both face-to-face and online tutoring. For those that live further away, I can carry out lessons through Skype whilst sharing my screen and teaching materials to assist the session.

Experience: Past tutoring experience in English, Maths and Biology. I`m currently only teaching high school biology ranging from year 11 to 13.
