I am a registered NZ teacher who has returned to study in 2021 and therefore will be available for tutoring more regularly around Mount Maunganui and Tauranga.

I have experience teaching and tutoring both primary and secondary levels with a strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for juniors through to NCEA level.

I have now been teaching years 7-12 mathematics for 4 years.

My tutoring strengths and where I have the most experience teaching are school years 9 -11 (NCEA level 1 especially MCAT, algebra and both the internals and externals of level 1). Because of this I have lots of notes, resources, websites, study tips and activities I am happy to share with students in order to help them along.

My strengths include a lot of experience teaching at all-girls schools. Therefore an understanding of the challenges girls can sometimes have when learning maths which can be linked to confidence. I am a very patient person who is able to break maths down in order to help students such as this.
