Janaka

Hi, my name is Janaka, I am a 4th year medical student at the university of Auckland. I tutor Biology, Chemistry and Physics at IGCSE and AS levels. I am friendly and approachable and enjoy the opportunity afforded by tutoring to work with students and help guide them through the tough and challenging parts of the sciences. I take a step-by-step approach to these difficult concepts and make sure to explain them in a clearly structured way and have the patience to make sure students eventually get there at their own pace.

Availability: I am available most evenings Monday to Friday and can do any times after 12 in the weekends.

Experience:
I have several years of experience as a tutor, starting as a volunteer in high school and moving on to tutoring professionally in university. I am most familiar with The Cambridge International Examinations system. Although I initially struggled with their rigid system, over the I learnt how to use this system in my favour and in my A-levels managed to obtain A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
