Hi there!
I am a year 13 high school student currently completing NCEA level 3. I love learning and would love to help others to find learning fun.

I am good at most subjects but would be most helpful in English or Science related subjects. I’m also willing to help with maths, social studies and more optional subjects such as art or design, history, Computing, etc.
If I don’t know how to do something or won’t be a good fit I will let you know right away. I won’t pretend I know what I’m doing if I don’t.

First “lesson” will mostly be an introduction, a few games or activities and I’ll look over the work the student is doing to make sure I can help. This may include a small fee if I have to travel a substantial distance. I will always be up front and reasonable with all costs. Especially in the first few lessons.

I would prefer to work with primary aged kids needed some extra help with school work to catch up with their peers. From ages 6-12. However I am open to teaching older kids if I believe I can help.

Availability: Because of my schedule after school hours is the only time I can tutor. I am willing to travel for the right student and am willing to meet in a neutral location eg. A library if this suits better. I can also tutor online if this option is easier for you.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have limited professional experience. However, I have always helped my brother (he is dyslexic) with his school work. My friends often come to me for advice on their own school work such as writing essays/ speeches or science.
