As a retired Head of Mathematics with a Master of Education (MEd) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) majoring in mathematics, I have 35 years of teaching experience. I am dedicated to empowering students on their mathematical journey and specialize in NCEA at all levels as both an assessor and moderator.

I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring that is tailored to each student’s unique learning style and goals. My approach focuses on clarity, problem-solving skills, and fostering a love for mathematics. Whether your child is preparing for exams or looking to improve overall performance, I am committed to supporting their success.

Experience: I have taught at all levels of secondary school mathematics, including calculus and statistics. For 22 of those years, I taught in New Zealand, and spent 10 years as the Head of the Mathematics Department. I have taught, assessed, and moderated all levels of NCEA mathematics. Additionally, I have tutored first-year university mathematics and have taught adult students as well.
