Hello, My name is Rachel, I am a New Zealand trained primary school teacher with over 20 years classroom teaching experience. This year I have opted to follow a dream I`ve had for a very long time and have opened my own tutoring business called `Little Einstein tutors.` I am trained and specialise in Primary School Education (for children aged between 4-13 years old.) (Year 0 - Year 8)

Based at my home in Birkdale, Auckland. Students are taught by me. I am a New Zealand trained and very experienced, registered teacher.

At Little Einstein your child will be treated with true individualised teaching by a real person. I have experience teaching the New Zealand, English and Victorian (Australian) curriculums along with PYP (IB).

I understand that everyone learns differently and accommodate this in the way I teach. There is no such thing as a silly question and mistakes are learning opportunities.

I offer a variety of services to suit the needs of students locally, nationally and even internationally.

Experience: I have taught for over 20 years across many different settings. After gradating from Dunedin College of Education, I taught in New Zealand for a short time before relocating and teaching in Melbourne. After a few years in Melbourne I moved to London on what I thought would be my 2 year working holiday. This evolved into a decade of working in schools all over London. I worked in several prep schools including prestigious Glendower and Eaton Square. 5 years ago I returned to New Zealand. Since arriving back in NZ I have taught as a relief teacher in several local schools, At Kristin School for a few years and am now working 2 days a week in an alternative education school. I have had experience with a variety of different curriculums. I have also completed PD and have experience teaching students who are twice exceptional, and/or have learning challenges such are dyselxia,dyspraxia, ASD or ADHD.
