I live and work in New Zealand for the last 4 years. I enjoy this beautiful country and its lifestyle, I am an active person who enjoys sharing my knowledge and help students if needed.

Experience: I am currently working as a Research Technician at the University of Auckland focusing on a drug development project for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes under the direction of Professor Garth Cooper. The high incidence of Type 2 Diabetes in Maori and Pacific Islanders spotlights the need for innovative treatment options. I have a Master’s in Applied Science with merit in Molecular Biotechnology from Otago University and a Master’s degree with honours in Biology.

I have six years of relevant experience working in New Zealand and internationally. I have built strong communication and interpersonal skills by working in different environments with people from diverse backgrounds and am fluent in both Spanish and German (as well as English).
