Tianwei

Hello! I hope this page finds you well. :) I`m Tianwei, a recent law school grad spending some time in New Zealand with family between school and work. I enjoy teaching and keeping busy, and would love to help you with classwork, exam prep, or essay-writing and reading comprehension skills! I pride myself on meeting students where they are, and explaining concepts in clear and engaging ways.

I was raised in New Zealand, but until recently have been based in New York. In my spare time, I like to read, play computer games, and hang out with our very weird German Shepherd, Sparky.

In addition to teaching English, I care a great deal about getting students into reading! I`m always happy to offer book, poetry, or short story recommendations.

Experience: I have tutored students for over eight years, with students` ages ranging between 6 and 20. During my time in law school, I was a class Teaching Assistant and private tutor for Torts.

My major qualifications are as follows:
JD (Juris Doctor) with subject honors at NYU School of Law (2020)
BA in History with Honors at Rice University (2017), minor in Politics, Law, and Social Thought
Semester`s study of Law at Auckland University (before transfer to US), 4.0 average.
IB Diploma (2012) from Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland
