I specialise in teaching students who are anxious about being left behind, or those who have resigned themselves to the belief that they won`t achieve high grades.
This could mean any student from any background or learning ability, but typically, it is the profile of students who struggle with chronic illness, fatigue, or learning differences like ADHD, dyslexia, or other "non-neurotypical" conditions.
Often, students who are clever in their own right develop anxiety around learning - because they feel like outsiders in classrooms that aren`t designed to accommodate their specific needs. I was one of those students, and my experiences taught me how to maneuver around the difficulties, and succeed in the New Zealand system.

GradCert major in English and New Media
GradDip in Secondary Teaching __- Currently teaching at High School in English and Media Studies with NCEA students levels 1, 2 and 3.
Theatre/drama work with teenagers - 4 years
Graduate Diploma student-teacher - 1st year
