I am a third-year politics student and will be finishing my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Otago this year. I loved English, Art History, and Classical Studies at school and have continued to take papers on them at university. I come from a big family, so I am very confident around others and am used to helping and listening to what people need. I achieved scholarship English, and this was largely due to my own hard work and program towards exams that I have now applied to those I help. I am extremely flexible with time and would love to help whoever I can, however I can.

Experience: I have helped my younger brother, now in the halls at Otago every year with his English exams at school. After I figured out a way to `attack` an exam with confidence in my first year of NCEA I have applied it to helping various friends and my brother. I believe that listening is more important than talking in these situations, you have to know what they understand, to begin with. I often have spent an initial hour just listening to the student and what they know and do not to then come up with a fool-proof study plan.
