I love seeing children thrive as they develop new skills, grow in knowledge and discover what they are capable of. Every child is different, and I enjoy finding ways to make learning engaging and meaningful. I want children to feel supported when something is difficult, proud of their progress and excited about what they can achieve. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a child`s confidence grow as they realise, “I can do this.”

Experience: I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) from the University of Canterbury and three years` experience teaching in New Zealand primary schools. I have experience working with children across the primary age range and adapting learning to individual needs. I am also a former Ministry of Education tutor teacher. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations, developing confidence and providing appropriate challenge and extension. I now offer personalised online tutoring for children aged 5–12 throughout New Zealand.
