Teaching is my passion and I am interested in conceptual teaching/learning.

I have a PhD in Science from Massey University, and I am happy to help anyone (intermediate, secondary or tertiary level) who is looking for math or science tutorials.

I have patience, listen to student’s approach in solving problems, and help fill the gaps.

A part of the tuition fee goes to children’s charity, and the tutoring fee can be discounted for low-income families (Community Card).

Availability: Saturday and Sundays - Flexible

Mon-Friday - after 5.30pm

Experience: I have been teaching/tutoring Maths and Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for more than 10 years. (Intermediate/Secondary, NCEA and tertiary levels).

Some of my intermediate students achieved excellence in their NCEA exams. I taught my children who achieved excellence in their NCEA exams.

I use different approaches/ techniques in teaching as each student has her/his own strengths and gaps. My sessions are interactive, conceptual and interesting to develop self-confidence in the students.
