I’m a friendly and approachable university student studying Education and Biology at Victoria University of Wellington. I enjoy helping secondary school students build confidence in Maths and Biology and ma challenging topics easier to understand.

I believe tutoring should be supportive and tailored to each student. I take the time to understand what a student is struggling with and explain concepts in a clear and simple way. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, while providing guidance and support along the way.

I’m particularly happy to help with NCEA preparation, assessment revision, difficult topics, homework and building general confidence in a subject. I offer a relaxed learning environment where students can learn at their own pace.

Experience: I have experience tutoring secondary school students in Maths and Biology, including NCEA students across different year levels and abilities. My tutoring experience has included both online and in-person lessons, where I have helped students understand difficult concepts, prepare for assessments and develop greater confidence in their subjects.

I am currently studying Education and Biology at Victoria University of Wellington, giving me a strong background in the subjects I tutor as well as an interest in teaching and learning.

I adapt my lessons to each student’s individual needs, whether they need help with a particular topic, exam preparation, homework or ongoing academic support.
