I am a 26 year old English teacher, journalist, musician, academic editor, writer and business owner. I possess certification from the University of Cambridge for teaching English to Adults as well as qualifications in English from the University of Canterbury. I have a 100 percent pass rate for all my private students who sat the IELTS exam. I ensure this by possessing an in depth understanding of the theoretical principles and practical applications of the acquisition of language. I have acquired this from both learning Chinese and Spanish myself and studying English and language acquisition at the University of Canterbury. My lessons are always suited to the level and goals of the students, all while exceeding their expectations of their own abilities. I ensure a professional yet joyous learning experience and will always have my students laughing and learning.

I have also taught at the secondary level at Christchurch Girls` High School and Allendale School. I have worked in private English schools in Christchurch at the New Zealand College of Business and Neo School of English. I have over 8 years private tutoring experience.
