Hi, I am a University of Auckland First Year student studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). In high school, I attained Excellence Endorsements in NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3.

I am extremely passionate, knowledgeable and familiar in this kind of environment and recognize how vital it is to constantly maintain a friendly and positive attitude and maintain your time well when working through a problem. It is extremely rewarding seeing once struggling students achieving academic success as a result of there hard work, dedication and commitment to the subject. I also recognise that the role of a tutor is also one as a mentor, someone a student can go to for support, guidance and motivation.

I believe that my ability to understand and adapt to confusing, challenging and complex problems is arguably a tutor’s greatest weapon. I believe I am a great team player with strong communication skills, constantly providing encouragement, motivation and inspiration to approach and view a problem from multiple perspectives to truly grasp an understanding before answering the question.

Availability: I am available after 3pm Monday-Friday.

Experience: I have held the position of a Senior Mathematics Tutor at NumberWorks`nWords for nearly 2 years, tutoring students from Years 1-11.
